Why would I need alterations on clothes I wear everyday?
Purchased garments are made based on standard measurements. Sometimes garments fit a wide range of body types but more often than not, your unique body type, measurements and style require alterations to your garments. Our customers feel comfortable and confident knowing that their clothes fit properly—their pants and sleeves are the correct length, their suits and dresses are fitted and flattering, and they rely on our expertise to look their best.

Do you alter men's clothes?
We do! We are very happy to have a master tailor on our staff who can help with all your menswear needs!
How long will alterations take?
Schedule an appointment or just stop in during regular hours! Our turnaround on alterations that are not formalwear is typically 7-10 days. However, your deadline is our deadline- let us know when you need your items ready and we will do what it takes to complete your job on time—even as quickly as next day! (Rush charges apply)
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes! No appointment necessary for pickup and drop off. Appointments are appreciated for formalwear or multiple garments that need to be fitted.
If I get my clothes altered, will it be noticeable?
We believe you will not only notice (and get noticed!) but also appreciate the fit and feel of professionally altered garments— pants that are the correct length, waistbands that fit comfortably, and the confidence that comes from knowing you look your best. With our expertise and quality finishes, the alterations will look as good (or better!) than the original.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing for work can be subjective. We will work with you to come up with an estimate before any work is started. Our approach is to understand your priorities and work within your budget . We encourage communication regarding expectations. Some common alterations and costs would be: Simple mend- minimum charge per garment $15 Pant hem $22 Formal dress hem $80 Replace pant zipper $30
Yes, however these alterations are done by appointment only. Call for an appointment/consultation and allow one hour for fittings. We ask that you allow 12 weeks for turnaround on wedding dresses.
Do you alter prom and other formal dresses?
Yes! Schedule an appointment and allow 30 minutes for fittings. Turnaround on formal dresses is two weeks.
The shoes you will wear, along with any undergarments (i.e. strapless bras, shapewear, etc.) If you'd like to bring jewelry and accessories, we are always happy to offer opinions! (Within the boundaries of your appointment time slot)
Do you make garments?
No, we do not offer custom sewing.
What if I just need a button sewed on?
We sew lots of buttons on! We have a $15 per garment minimum but no job is too small.
